We have an opening for Material Controller ” in one of the world’s most reputed Oil & Gas Operating Companies located in “Abu Dhabi/ Das Island”

Experience:  7+ yrs

 

Qualification: Completion of Technical Secondary education (12 years) or equivalent.

Job Purpose

1)     Co-ordinate, control and monitor Term Contract Materials through SAP and perform a variety of other duties related to Inventory, Turnaround and project material receipts.

2)     Assists Section Supervisor in his duties as required.

Duties Performed

a)  Monitoring procurement and organizing  storage of term contact materials.

b)  Ensure  the availability of proper documents on receipt of materials

c)  Generate payment report for the material consumption lo enable contractor to raise Invoice

d) Ensure all Materials sheets to be documented  and made available for audit online under SAP.

e)  Directs contracted personnel to observe Company safety rules and regulations,  security and hygiene measures.

f)  Assists the Materials  Operations Section during and after the yearly Plant Turnarounds in regard to transfer, reconciliation and stock cheking of the TA materiaLt.

g)    Maintains  up-to-date  all stock control   documents  such  as catalogues  change, combinations, inter stores transfer, return notes and adjustment notes to ensure that such documents are actioned correctly, speedily and effectively.

Prepares the annual stock checking programme In conjunction with Supervisor,

Investigates discrepancies revealed during stock cheek and prepare reports

Assists in implemeniting a high standard of “House ‘Keeping” ensuring the material are properly preserved,. protected and correctly  stored,

Organize retrieval of material written off by board Resolutions for sale purpose and

prepare necessary documentation  for reconciliation and follow up.

Prepare plan  for receiving Projects Commissioning and 2 years operations spares, attend meetings and report as necessary,

Responsibility:

 Provides work directions to Sr Storekeeper and contracted Storekeepers, Chargehands,  Equipment Operators and Helpers within assigned section.
